The not-so-hidden BEauty of Whole Life Education that extends across generations

Updated: Oct 11, 2022

The warm & stormy Summer rains deliver big surprises, don't they?

In between fronts moving through, our daughter & her friend decided to use the current weather in their favor & in the drizzle between downpours to do a unit study on mycology. And, today especially provides tons of specimens for them!

They are using ID books & apps; and, since we are an outdoor & herbal family, my daughter is very well aware of the medicinal, beneficial, & myriad adverse affects. Yes, we talk about all those sorts of things, & more, in great detail together.

Would you like to chime in with your ID skills, thoughts, ideas, & share if & what you know about any of these you see here to add multidimensional cross references for their studies? You can join in this expansive multidimensional subjects unit study with more fun photos here:

We love to INtuitively discover, share, listen, & speak with others in deep chats about what they know & think about all things. Being any age kid in this world is challenging more often than not, and flexing muscles, including our brains, makes learning not only ultra fun but relational & multisensory, proven to very positively affect memory, attention, & stamina for those more complicated topics that all pop up at times in life.

It's in sharing the big pictures & tiny details of morphology that can have drastic affects across spectrums, especially when it comes to human consumption.

Mushrooms are natural yet can cause much worse affects much more quickly than industrial poisons, toxins , metals , & other "doctored up" bits & parts (con$idered within legal limit$, or not🧐) that are not natural to humans and are well known to have very drastic & long lasting effects, quickly all the way to hardly noticeable at all with repetitious use accumulates in the body over time causing cascades of consequences.

Researching everything very deeply for ourselves and in conversation with others of multiple ages & interests & various skills has always been a very critical element of our Whole Life Education, along with a pencil(s) & journal, stick & sand even, & nowadays the world-in-our-pocket of resources, too.

It's super INjoyable, & yes, messy sometimes, with the clean up together naturally a fun part of the process, now honestly after many different trials (science term without a negative meaning for us) of clean ups as part of the natural process of experimenting with all the Sciences of life.

Our kitchen has been our most used, & well loved, laboratories & we love stocking it with really healthy things for free range learning, within reasonable distance & of course not alone as little kids, all meant to provide them with necessary space, time, & love to "try their wings on for size" exploring & learning more & more gradually on their own, building greater self control, focus, & attention along the way, that so far is serving them very well in their jobs & friendships, according to those who work WITH them & us regularly, yet contrary to some others focused on looks & appearances, & quick glimpses in $ociali$m media, with their natural mistakes as older teens & young adults bumbly flying as they take flight INto their expanding adulthood.

Firm boundaries with honesty & clear words allows the message to go heart to heart, ear to ear, eye to eye: DO NOT USE THIS POST FOR ANYBREASOM TO EAT MUSHROOMS YOU OR OTHERS FORAGE, WITHOUT EXHAUSTIVELY STUDYING THEIR SPECIES, CHARACTERISTICS, EFFECTS, & THE FINE, YET VERY IMPORTANT, DETAILS THAT ARE KNOWN TO CAUSE DEATH AS WELL AID LIFE.
